Spring Break Recap!

The post you all have been waiting for-spring break details! We love traveling to Arizona for spring break because it is an easy flight from CO, and we can always find an amazing house for our whole crew to stay. This year my family and Ty’s came along and it was just what we all needed. A week full of fun, family, sun and tequila HIGH NOONS!!

One of the things we love to do when traveling with the kids is find a great house! It makes it so easy to navigate nap time, bed time and ALL the food we need all week long with the kids. The home we found this year had everything we needed and more. “The Sweetwater Ranch” as they call it, was PERFECT. It had almost an acre back yard with so many things for us all to do-pool, outdoor patio, basketball court, putting green, horseshoe pit, hot tub, playset, you name it they have it! Maybe my favorite part was all of the citrus trees on the property-I haven’t eaten that many oranges, grapefruits and lemons maybe ever. SO fresh and so delish.

There was plenty of space for all of us inside with 5 bedrooms and it was close to everything we wanted to do in the Scottsdale area. I would absolutely stay here again!

We did a lot of cooking and eating at home, but we did get out a few times too. Ty and I always love to go on a sushi date to Ra Sushi, they have a few locations in the Scottsdale area and it never disappoints. We also ate at The Mexicano, Hop Daddy, Salad and Go and Crust Brothers. I would absolutely recommend them all.

We spent most of our time at the house but did get out to do a few things with the fam, and we shopped on the rainy day at Fashion Square! We took the kids to the McCormick-Stillman Railroad and they had a blast there. Definitely a great spot to take the kids! We also went bowling at Bowlero and that was a fun afternoon for everyone.

For maybe the first time ever, I found swim suits that I loved for this trip!! After so many years trying to crash diet my way into a vacation, I am happy to say I no longer have that mindset around my body! I am stronger than I have ever been and I am proud of the work I have put in to get there. I have linked all my swimmies and some of the clothes I took on the trip on the images! PS-If you are ready to make a lasting, sustainable change in your health and overall wellness, reach out. I don’t want you to spend another minute on the sidelines because you don’t want to take your coverup off!

I didn’t take a ton of pics of the outfits I brought, but here are a few I have linked for you! We basically spent the day in our swimmies, workout clothes and a couple nights out.

We had an incredible week together in the sunshine. I am so grateful to be able to spend intentional time with my family, and I know that the memories from these trips together will be something I will always cherish. Motherhood isn’t easy, but damn it is worth it.
