Mexico Anniversary Trip Recap!

Our 7 year anniversary trip was one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever been on. Nizuc is tucked in the heart of Riviera Maya and offered nothing but a 5 star experience. The time we were able to spend reconnecting and celebrating our life together was truly unforgettable.

The food was absolutely incredible! The pico de gallo was the best I’ve ever had, and you know how much I love Mexican Food! The sushi was mouth watering, and the strong margaritas and palomas did not disappoint. The resort is very small, and there weren’t a lot of people so the service was fantastic!

The Spa (ESPA) consisted of an all day relaxation package with a lounge experience including a hot/cold plunge, scalp massage, and foot rub.

We were then taken into a private suite where we had a couples massage, hour long facial, and a lunch/dessert in our private villa. Truly one of the most incredible spa packages I have ever done.

Although stunning, the resort is fairly small. We hit up the beach and both pools the first day, ate at every restaurant on the property and did the water activities the resort offered. We decided to stay on location for safety purposes, so at some points the trip got mundane. I don’t know if that tells me that we aren’t good relaxers, or if we just like more activities on our vacations! If we go back, I would include a day of golf or more water sports. There is a lot of wildlife around the resort too, and iguanas around every corner-ha!

Now let’s get to the outfits! I had so much fun shopping for this trip. Vacationing without the kids gave me a chance to wear things I normally don’t when the kids are hanging all over me. I know all mamas know just what I am talking about! All outfits are linked by clicking on the photos!
